Marcie Davis, President, founded Davis Innovations in 1999. Marcie has over 18 years of experience working in local, state and federal program design, management, research and evaluation, specializing in criminal justice, public health and other human service issues. She has been recognized by numerous entities for her achievements and contributions and has been the recipient of the New Mexico Governor's Award for Outstanding New Mexico Women, the University of New Mexico School of Management Up and Comer's Award, National School Public Relations Association Golden Achievement Award and the American Red Cross Southwest Star. She earned a master's degree in library science from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Franz Freibert, Ph.D., Vice-President, joined Davis Innovations in 1999. Franz has over eighteen years of experience in research, data collection and analysis, and evaluation. He has over sixteen years of published works. Franz has received numerous accolades for his research achievements. He is responsible for data analysis, mapping, quality monitoring and program evaluation. Franz earned his doctorate in physics from Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida.
Katie Bridgewater joined Davis Innovations in 2004. Katie has extensive experience in researching and planning public health related topics with both government and non-profit organizations. She served as Executive Director of the Family Strengths Network and as the Graduate Program Coordinator for the University of California at Santa Barbara. Katie earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University.
Jessi Espinoza, a native of New Mexico, has a BBA in Marketing & Accounting Management and minor in Sociology from the University of New Mexico. It was at UNM that Jessi developed a strong passion for research. After graduating from UNM Jessi moved to Prague, Czech Republic to teach English, travel, and experience a new culture and way of life. While in Prague she was responsible for teaching Marketing and Financial English techniques to employees at International Companies. Teaching in Prague was a great way to experience another country, culture, language, and business environment. Since returning to the states Jessi'ss international experience, passion for research, and knack for marketing have helped her to quickly develop into her role as a Research Associate. She has qualitative and quantitative research experience in a variety of industries including public policy, transportation, and education.
Melissa Bunnell Mitchell, Senior Research Associate, joined Davis Innovations in 1999. Melissa is a licensed clinical social worker with a strong emphasis in substance abuse and crisis intervention. She has served as the Counseling Director of a non-profit adolescent service agency, a former member of the Crisis Response of Santa Fe and Clinical Director of a non-profit adolescent treatment center. Melissa has provided critical incident debriefing in a variety of traumatic events that
resulted in the loss of life and property including: the tragic Cerro
Grande/Los Alamos wildfires, fatal bus crash, missing children, suicide,
etc. Areas of technical expertise include onsite crisis assessment,
evaluation, prevention, intervention, case management, counseling, and
grant writing. She holds a Master of Social Work from Ohio State University. |
